Characters: Kelsey, Socrates
K: Excuse me.
S: Yes?
K: Have you seen a cat?
S: Pardon?
K: A cat. My cat is gone.
S: Oh, really?
K: Her name is Tiger. She's very small. She's about nine months old... Oh, and I'm Kelsey.
S: What is a cat?
K: ...Pardon?
S: A cat. What is it?
K: Well...um, it has four legs.
S: Like a table?
K: Um, no. It's not like a table. It moves. It's very fast.
S: Like a horse?
K: No! A horse is big! My cat is very small! Have you seen her?
S: Your cat is small and fast and has four legs... But you haven't answered my question. What is a cat?
K: *Sigh* I don't know...
Now listen to the questions. If you don't understand something, ask either Kelsey or your tutor for help.
