The Planets
There are eight planets in our solar system:
Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune
One more time that's Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune.
Mercury is the closest planet to the sun.
Neptune is the farthest planet from the sun.
Mercury is the smallest planet.
Jupiter is the largest planet.
We live on planet Earth.
Earth is about the same size as Venus, but Earth is a little bigger.
Mars is larger than Mercury, but smaller than Earth and Venus.
Uranus is about the same size as Neptune, but Uranus is a little bigger.
Saturn is larger than Uranus and Neptune, but smaller than Jupiter.
Saturn has beautiful rings.
The planets, from largest to smallest are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Earth, Venus, Mars, Mercury.
From smallest to largest, that's Mercury, Mars, Venus, Earth, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter.
