My name is Steve Kaufmann and I speak 9 languages fluently. I was an unsuccessful language learner for years before I discovered a better, more enjoyable way. No grammar textbooks, no pressure to perform before you are able. Just the language itself and a system for learning from it. I’ve literally “written the book” on language learning.
There's No Secret
Begin by reading TheLinguist Manifesto. The first thing to understand about learning Japanese is that it is not an intellectual exercise. It is much more like training a muscle than like figuring out a mathematical formula. You have to do the right things and you have to do them regularly. The more intensively you do them, the better the results.
